GrowRaton to Host Community Christmas Concert at The Hub on December 20
Nov 25, 2025––GrowRaton is pleased to invite the community to a festive afternoon of music, storytelling, and holiday cheer at The Hub, 300 S 3rd Street in Raton, on Saturday, December 20, from 2:00–5:00 p.m. The Christmas Concert: Sounds of the Season brings together a talented group of performers for a warm, family-friendly celebration of the holidays. A $10.00 donation is suggested, and refreshments will be available.
The program features three distinctive performances:
Jonathan Lowry — Organ Music & Christmas Sing-Along
Organist Jonathan Lowry joins us from Colorado, where he is well-known for his expressive and dynamic keyboard artistry. Lowry visits The Hub whenever he can, drawn by the unique character and sound of its historic organ. His performance will feature classic Christmas selections and a lively sing-along of beloved carols—inviting the audience to lift their voices and share in the joy of the season.
Jeff Wahl — Guitar Performance & Holiday Storytelling
Experience an unforgettable performance by virtuoso solo guitarist Jeff Wahl, whose exquisite fingerstyle playing blends seamlessly with rich, immersive storytelling. Wahl guides audiences through classic holiday melodies and the stories that shape them, offering a heartfelt and evocative experience. Expect guitar pieces and tales that shift from warm and playful to haunting and profound—an intimate performance that resonates long after the final note fades.
First Street Revival Band — Classic Americana from Local Musicians
The concert also features the First Street Revival Band, a group of talented local musicians who bring a homegrown Americana sound to the holiday season. Their warm harmonies, acoustic energy, and roots-inspired style give their performance a distinctly folksy flavor. Blending familiar tunes with the spirit of classic American folk traditions, their set delivers a lively, community-driven close to the afternoon.
